Business-wise, Soulja Boy is often counted out, despite being one of the pioneers of hip hop moving online. Many wrote Soulja Boy off, following his run in 2007-2009. However, Soulja Boy moved into the background and made sound business decisions.
Over the weekend, Soulja Boy made major headlines when he revealed he signed a $400 million deal. Because of this deal, Soulja Boy is demanding the internet adds this to his $25 million net worth. But, there are still doubters.
Last season on “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood,” fans reacted in disbelief when Soulja Boy said $25 million was his net worth. However, fans searching the internet discovered this was true, but Charlamagne wasn’t buying his new AppIt Mobile deal. In response to Charlamagne telling Angela Yee on “The Breakfast Club” to ignore the story, Soulja Boy said “put some respek” on his name.
