#729vidHistory is the past, but it’s meant to be made and records are meant to be broken. For so long, the NBA and everything associated with it has looked for the “next” Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls. Given how basketball was in those first few years, it seemed as if it would never be.

However, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant both put on stellar performances. While the sports world hyped those guys, Steph Curry was shooting in the gym, Drake style. In a five year period, he has led the Golden State Warriors, organically from an also ran to historical.

The Golden State Warriors won the 2015 NBA Championship, ironically over LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers. But, history is on Steph Curry’s side, as the Warriors won 92-86, matching the Bulls’ 72 wins with one more game to go.
