Throughout the years, hip hop has enjoyed a love affair with business magnate, Donald Trump. However, this relationship became strained when Donald Trump went against Barack Obama. Traditionally a liberal, Donald Trump supported Republicans during the Obama era.
When Donald Trump launched his presidential campaign, he alienated most of his hip hop fan base. Surely, Nelly regrets the shout out he gave to Trump on his debut single. Meanwhile, Donald Trump still does have some hip hop support.
Since her comeback performance with Common at the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, Foxy Brown has kept silent. But, she has come back in a major way this afternoon. The Brooklyn legend revealed she is endorsing Donald Trump, a fellow New York City native, for president.
