Early in his career, Wale was one of the most-hyped up-and-coming rappers in the game. Co-signed by Jay Z, Wale found himself languishing on the Interscope Records roster. Soon, Jay Z helped Wale leave Interscope and he joined Maybach Music.
In the 2011-2012 period, Wale established himself as one of the newer stars in the game. Since that time, however, Wale has not managed to reach the same success levels. Furthermore, fans have begun calling him trash and sharing pics of garbage cans.
Wale is known for going back at fans when they disrespect him, even mentioning this in his music. This past afternoon, a fan gave Wale’s music and underhanded compliment, but still called his music “trash.” Tired of it, Wale came back HARD on this fan and put it all in perspective.
