Evan Barlow talks about needing to get “The Fix” artist outlines the story of over coming drug addiction in hot new single

Charlie Sheen, Whitney Houston, Oprah Winfrey, Lindsay Lohan, Tim Allen, Steven Tyler to name a few have all fought similar battles to Richmond, Virginia native Evan Barlow. This dark side that many hide in hopes for it never to be unveiled can tear away the possibility of family, friends and career ever developing. So many have lost there lives due to this disease and many others have found themselves faced with severe repercussions, and few have followed a similar path as Evan Barlow to OVERCOME.

Remember that sad day February 11, 2012 when we all got the news that our beloved Whitney Houston passed away from her drug overdose. The future of death and misery is a future that Evan Barlow wishes to leave in the past. So he raps about it, and expresses it freely in his rhymes. The Fix is a full expression of his past experiences of his life as a drug addict and what he truly experienced when he’d hear his lighter start the flame that had him experience a high that now is unwanted.

Barlow is currently putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated mixtape “FABRICS” coming soon. He’s worked with an incredible group of artists on his new project, including the talented producer Bink (Kanye West, Jay Z), the phenomenal Pop Wansel producers  “Some Randoms,” Chally (signed to Timbaland), Macklemore’s horn players Greg Kramer and Ouwor Arunga, and more.

The Richmond, Virginia native has creatively coined his unique sound “the music of the day after tomorrow” and is known for effortlessly blending genres such as Rock, Pop, Alternative and Hip-Hop for a signature result that resounds with a millennial age.
