The past year has seen The Weeknd truly boost himself from being another name in the game to the number one guy. At a time when Usher is in between albums and Ne-Yo is doing the business thing, the top was ripe for the taking. It was something The Weeknd stepped up to take.

The Weeknd is dominating the radio with “Can’t Feel My Face” and “In The Night,” even though “The Hills” still does well. When he was tapped to perform at the Grammys, he obviously had to perform those. He definitely came with the intensity.

Since this is music’s ultimate celebration, The Weeknd had to come strong, which he did. He brought new life to “Can’t Feel My Face” and “In The Night” and the fans approved. While fans gave their approval on Twitter, they were upset with Lauryn Hill not showing up, as advertised.
