Twenty years ago, Tupac Shakur signed with Death Row Records and immediately scored a hit with Dr. Dre. It looked like Suge Knight’s empire would live forever. However, this was actually the beginning of the end for Death Row.
Soon, Dr. Dre left the label, as did a bevvy of other successful artists on the label. Before long, it was only Tupac representing the label and he, too, would soon be gone. Unfortunately, Tupac’s departure was in death and not business.
An age-old debate is the question of who killed Tupac and people have gone back and forth over it. Recently, there was a DVD released that debates the deaths of Biggie and Tupac. The DVD includes an audio confession from Keffe D, as he describes being the person who killed Tupac and the events leading up to it.
