In the late 1990s, DMX debuted and was one third of a formidable trio alongside Jay Z and Ja Rule. The original Murder Inc., they owned the charts on an individual basis for close to five years. However, it looks unlikely that they’ll ever join forces again.
Out of the trio, DMX has seemed to have the worse time, as he often battles drug and legal problems. Drug addiction is something DMX has battled since before he was in the rap game. His battles became more public when he did his BET reality show.
This morning, news broke of DMX being found unconscious and without a pulse in a Yonkers Ramada Inn. Fortunately, paramedics were able to revive DMX and he is now in the hospital. Conflicting reports say it was either an overdose or an asthma attack.
