The New Year is getting broken in properly with award season being here already. Tonight, the NAACP Image Awards are taking place and Anthony Anderson is hosting it again. Last night, the pre-show took place and Affion Crockett and Nischelle Turner co-hosted.
Present, aside from the hosts, were such names as Jussie Smollett, Roland Martin, and Aaron D. Spears, among others. All of the best and brightest in urban entertainment were accounted for. There was also the Hip Hop Vibe staff in attendance.
Boscee is Hip Hop Vibe’s newest Los Angeles red carpet correspondent and she handled the interviews. She interviewed Jussie Smollett from the number one TV show, “Empire,” Roland Martin, Joe Morton from “Scandal,” Affion Crockett, Rosalyn Brock, and Aaron D. Spears from “Being Mary Jane.” Hip Hop Vibe has footage of the entire red carpet event.
