For the past couple of years, Gabrielle Union has acted as the face of primetime BET. She has starred in “Being Mary Jane” since 2013 and she has done phenomenal. Her portrayal of the titular character has earned her critical acclaim.
However, like every other entertainer, Gabrielle Union and her co-stars have had to take a back seat to “Empire.” The show took over through the intense portrayals from Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. It would be Henson who won Outstanding Actress.
