In 2014, Young Thug officially made the jump from being a popular mixtape rapper to a true force in the game. Since 2014, Young Thug dropped a hit single every year. A major jump occurred when he joined forces with Birdman and Cash Money Records.
Once Lil Wayne began airing Birdman out, Young Thug stepped up and began beefing with him. In the midst of dissing Lil Wayne, Young Thug surprisingly collaborated with him. But, there was no chance of him working with Game or Plies.
Young Thug had an eventful 2015 and he stopped by Shade 45 to speak with Sway for “Sway In The Morning.” They discussed his situation with Lil Wayne and also touched on Game, Plies, his work with Kanye West, and Rich Homie Quan. This interview has a lot of discussion behind it, because he touched on everything.
