A lot of people expected there to be tension with Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa, but there never was. Due to Amber Rose being their common denominator, there were initially rumors of beef. One story even reported a fight between Kanye and Wiz at Coachella.
In 2012, Kanye West revealed he and Kim Kardashian were dating on his single, “Cold,” with DJ Khaled. On the song, he addressed his ex situation. He would shout Wiz Khalifa out on the record and it was a big hip hop moment.
Ironically, Wiz Khalifa would call Kanye West out some four years later and this was after he married and divorced Amber Rose. Last night, Kanye West revealed he changed his album title to Waves and this sparked Wiz Khalifa to rant about Max B creating the wave.
