Back in 2013, A$AP Ferg had a breakthrough year and he broke from all shadows to become a top figure in hip hop. Since then, A$AP Ferg has not received the same level of attention. However, when he delivered his single, “New Level,” with Future, A$AP Ferg got some good looks.
While A$AP Ferg may not have had much mainstream success in 2014 or 2015, Future did. Similar to Lil Wayne in the mid-2000s, Future shunned the mainstream for mixtapes. He delivered a surprise album and then a mixtape with Drake, winning on both fronts.
A$AP Ferg ended the year of 2015 with “New Level” and began the year of 2016 with the visuals. This week saw many of the top names in the game drop new visuals and even some re-release albums from last year. But, A$AP Ferg was the one winning, as he and Future take this week’s Video of the Week with the “New Level” visuals.
