It’s hard to describe what “Empire” was to 2015, but phenomenon is definitely a good word for it. Prior to “Empire,” hip hop was severely underestimated. But, a focus on hip hop, good storylines, and powerhouse acting made “Empire” a runaway success.
The cast, led by the stellar Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson really made a big impact with fans. Most only knew the leads for their film roles and the rest of the cast is virtually unknown. Following “Empire” in 2015, this is no longer the case.
By far, “Empire” is television’s top-rated show and it returns to FOX in a little over a month. Given the cliffhanger it ended on, Lee Daniels has some incredible stuff coming up. Before “Empire” returns, there is a bit of good news, however, as the show was renewed for a third season, but we also have the promo for the upcoming episodes.
