Rising to fame alongside Master P in the 1990s, Mia X was the first lady of No Limit Records. Famously, Mia X dropped verses on both versions of “Bout It, Bout It” and also “Make ‘Em Say Uhh.” In the years since then, she has faded to the background.
Master P thrust himself back into the spotlight, late in 2012, and is now all over the place. As he prepares the No Limit biopic, Master P is also doing his own reality show. For the biopic, Master P said he is getting everyone from his company to come back and discuss things.
It is unclear whether he spoke to Mia X, but she decided to speak to the public a few hours ago. Placing a post dedicated to donations to cancer research foundations, Mia X revealed she, herself, is now battling cancer. Staying in good spirits, Mia X revealed a malignant tumor was found in her uterus, so prayers and well wishes go out to her in her new journey.
