Last night was an eventful night for Cash Money Records for a multitude of reasons. Behind Birdman and Lil Wayne reuniting, the label has a chance of returning to former glory. All of this took place after a show Drake did in Miami.
Since 2014, Lil Wayne has been at odds with Birdman. During this period of time, Drake and Nicki Minaj have separated themselves from the madness. In the case of Drake this led to career rejuvenation and he was already on top of the game.
One thing Drake didn’t do in 2015 was release Views From The 6, the album he first announced in 2014. It didn’t matter, seeing how he dominated 2015 with two mixtapes, but Drake is still working on the album. Last night, Drake confirmed the album will be coming very soon and likely through Apple Music, since he ended talks with Jay Z about TIDAL.
