Four years ago, “The Breakfast Club” made its premiere on Power 105.1, eventually propelling the station to number one. Consisting of an unlikely trio of Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy, the trio worked. Years later, they are a force in the hip hop industry.
In their span of time, “The Breakfast Club” has become an authority in hip hop media. The trio has interviewed the likes of Jay Z, Terrence Howard, and Patti LaBelle, among many others. With those under their belt, there are much more to come in 2016.
When 2016 arrives, “The Breakfast Club” will have a bigger presence here in North Carolina. “The Breakfast Club” premieres on January 4 on the popular Streetz 103.3, which will be a big look for the station. It’s more than likely that Charlotte will be seeing more of Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy.
