This afternoon, Chicago hip hop fans received a big scare when King Louie got shot. It’s often stated that Chicago is very violent and nothing is being done to stop the violence. In 2011, Kanye West cast a big light on this on Watch The Throne with Jay Z.
Young Chop, ironically, called Kanye West out, citing that he was not doing enough to help the issue. Thus far, even a few rising hip hop artists in Chicago have fallen victim. Last summer, OTF Nunu became a victim of the violence, getting killed at a local mall.
A shooting, this afternoon, left King Louie shot in the head. The situation was very frightening and it had people wondering if he was going to make it. Rushed to the hospital, King Louie is doing well, awake and talking, which is very good news.
