On a daily basis, there is something going on, some type of tragedy or another. Yesterday, all eyes were on Los Angeles and the LA Unified School District. There was a terrorist threat only weeks after a nearby university experienced a shooting.
A dangerous trend has been growing in the United States over the past twenty years. In this span of time, it has become more common for public places to fall victim to shootings. Even more alarming is the fact that schools seem to be the primary target.
However, in the case of the Los Angeles Unified School District, there is a bit of good news. The kids got a day out of school and it turns out, after doing some investigating, their lives are not in danger. It is being said that the threats from yesterday were nothing more than a hoax.
