During the summer, Drake established himself as the top rapper in the game. Notice the difference between being the top rapper and holding the number one spot. When Drake was dealing with disses from Tyga and Chris Brown, he was holding onto number one.
However, when Drake found himself dissed by Meek Mill, this is when it was do or die. Comparable to all the greats Drake shouts out, he rose to the occasion. Stepping up and battling Meek Mill, Drake made the situation look like child’s play.
Drake officially won the battle with “Back 2 Back,” where he lyrically destroys Meek Mill, targeting his relationship with Nicki Minaj. Now, there is more to the story being revealed. Complex talked to the producer of the track, Daxz, revealed the song was recorded and released within an hour.
