When he came in, DJ Khaled changed the game and he was one of the last people to really do that. Emerging at a time when Miami hip hop was on the decline, he introduced a new era. Relying on verses from multiple rappers, DJ Khaled has made classics.
Climbing the ranks, DJ Khaled went from being an industry outsider to getting Jay Z shout outs, followed by features. But, his movement also saw stars born, such as Ace Hood and Drake. Merchandising is the next obvious step.
DJ Khaled made a movement out of his We The Best phrase and later a label, when most would have just been happy trending. Outside of this, he has other phrases, which has led to We The Best merchandising. Going on Instagram, DJ Khaled debuted the physical We The Best t-shirts and showed off his WTB warehouse.
