50 Cent pays homage to his first tour with Cash Money and Ruff Ryders, posting photo of DMX and Juvenile

50 Cent 60To understand where one is going, it is important to remember where they have been. In the case of 50 Cent, he has been plenty of places and he has come a long way. Before the 11 million records sold worldwide, he was a mixtape star and an opening act on regional tours.

Much bigger than regional movements were Cash Money Records and also Ruff Ryders in the late 1990s and early 2000s. During this time, they were headlined by two of the biggest rappers in the game. These stars were DMX and Juvenile.

A lot has changed since that period of time, as 50 Cent challenged several Cash Money members and the Ruff Ryders. However, for the most part, he remained peaceful with DMX and Juvenile. Now, 50 Cent is paying homage to his roots, posting photos of DMX and Juvenile at his recent Effen Vodka event, acknowledging where he’s been.
