The self-proclaimed king of Memphis, Yo Gotti, had an impressive run, a couple of years ago. In fact, his run continued well into the early part of last year. With the flame now fizzled, Yo Gotti is back to his mixtape base where he built his incredible fan base.
Currently, Yo Gotti is heating back up with his “Down in the DM” single, where he is open and honest. On the track, Yo Gotti made it known that his crush is Angela… Simmons that is. The song is beginning to make a big impact on radio.
Recently, Yo Gotti stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” talking to Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy. During the interview, he spoke about his own Instagram DMs and the Memphis hip hop scene. Of course, he also talked to the trio about Angela Simmons.
