Following tomorrow’s episode of “Empire,” there is only one episode left before the fall finale. While the ratings climb did not continue into season two, “Empire” easily remained number one. The FOX soap has more good things to come.
Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) successfully defeated Freda Gatz (Bre-Z) during their freestyle battle. This means, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) won her wager versus Lucious (Terrence Howard). Now, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) is free to release his album on Lyon Dynasty.
Meanwhile, Anika (Grace Gealey) is slowly unraveling, looking as if she plans to kidnap Laura (Jamila Velazquez), Hakeem’s new girlfriend. In addition to this, Andre (Trai Byers) and Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) are preparing for parenthood. Last week, fans learned Cookie’s real name, Loretha, when Vivica A. Fox made her debut as Candace.
