Last year, Ty Dolla $ign successfully transitioned from mixtape and internet stardom to mainstream success. Now, he is all over the radio with the single, “Blase,” with Future and Rae Sremmurd. This is the popular single off Free TC, his debut.
Ty Dolla $ign is a popular figure in the game, both for his hits and his contributions to others. Despite being around for so long, he had yet to properly tell his story. But, Free TC served as Ty Dolla $ign’s autobiography, as he opened up about his brother.
In promotion of his album, Ty Dolla $ign sat down with Sway for “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45. During the interview, Ty Dolla $ign spoke on all of the inspirations and concepts for the album. This led to him talking about his brother and how his incarceration is a big inspiration for him.
