A couple of years ago, Fat Trel began making his impact on the DC hip hop scene. Emerging just as Wale signed with MMG, Fat Trel took over the streets with his music. In the following years, Fat Trel would follow his fellow DC rap star’s footsteps.

Fat Trel was initially a part of Master P’s No Limit movement, but he left the situation in 2013. Soon, he would not only sign with MMG, but also join Jay Z’s Roc Nation for management. It’s been two years since he joined those teams.

While Fat Trel is one of the newer members of the MMG camp, he is not a part of the Meek Mill/Wale/Drake drama. Clearly, Rick Ross is trying to separate himself and his label from that drama. It was likely due to this that Rick Ross let Fat Trel leak the cover for Black Market on his Instagram.
