Six years ago, Lil Wayne was still the biggest rapper in the game and preparing to pass the baton to Drake. It took Drake a while to outright take the crown, but now it is solely his. Indeed, the climate is different now than it was for Lil Wayne when No Ceilings dropped.
Lil Wayne released another Carter album, several other albums, began beefing with Birdman, and much more since then. Now, Lil Wayne is preparing No Ceilings 2 for release. Likely, this will be the prequel for his long-awaited Tha Carter V.
Over the weekend, Lil Wayne celebrated the sixth anniversary of his classic mixtape, No Ceilings. Preparing to get back to work on his latest mixtape, Lil Wayne definitely got the people interested. The cover for No Ceilings 2 was released and he revealed the release date for Thanksgiving, November 26.
