Often, rappers are among the most misunderstood people in society, but they have the most influence. It is hard to tell what is on a rapper’s mind or to figure out what they will do next. In many ways, rap stars have eclipsed the rock stars.
YG came up during a time when Los Angeles hip hop made a return to prominence. Before his era, where many rappers emerged, Game was the only newer artist. Now, YG is considered to be among the top newer rappers from the LA area.
There is new YG music being discussed, but nothing of substance has been released. But, YG still found a way to make headlines, keeping his name discussed. On the top of his head, YG got a tattoo, following the trend Birdman started, but his is of The Virgin Mary.
