Sixteen years after “Big Pimpin'” debuted and became a big radio hit, the song was given new life. Both Jay Z and Timbaland were sued by the family of Khosara Khosara, whose song is sampled for the track. They have issues with how the song was used and claim to be unpaid.

When Jay Z took the stand, he explained his relationship with his producer, Timbaland, and his history in the game. Jokingly, Jay Z refers to Kanye West, mentioning his presidential run. He went on to discuss how he and Timbaland compete, saying he was the better talent.

But, when it came to the actual case, Jay Z was short and to the point. It was a situation where he answered every question with “yes,” “no,” or “correct.” When it all comes down to it, Jay Z let it be known that he actually has paid the defendants, several times over. Now, he hope to move on with his life, and enjoy his new business ventures.
