During season one of “Empire,” Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett) was the breakout character. Last season’s underdog, Jamal overcame disapproval from Lucious (Terrence Howard) to lead his company. This earned him enemies in his brothers.
Andre (Trai Byers) and Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) soon began plotting to take the company. Their efforts were futile and Hakeem has a new label with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). Meanwhile, Jamal is on top of the music world, doing a photo shoot for Rolling Stone.
In last night’s episode of “Empire,” Jamal was doing his Rolling Stone interview when the FBI raided his offices. Later in the episode, Jamal was doing his photo shoot and the photographer got flirty with him right in front of Michael (Rafael de la Fuentes). It was something the fans noticed and they talked a lot about it on Instagram and Twitter.
