Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) is full of surprises on “Empire.” He told his son, Andre (Trai Byers) that he would need to do something major to get back into Empire. For going against him, Andre’s punishment was losing his job, but Lucious promised family support.
Andre, obsessed with Empire, decided to dig up Vernon’s (Malik Yoba) gave to prove to Lucious he came through. On his way out, Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday), his wife, joined him. While digging, Andre panicked and then Lucious and Thirsty (Andre Royo) arrived.
Together, the four of them dug Vernon up, said their goodbyes, and went on their way. Racked with guilt, Andre said his peace, as Lucious, consumed with hatred, cursed Vernon one more time and put his corpse in Roxanne Ford’s (Tyra Ferrell) car. Those moves sent Twitter wild, as she blocked his Apex Radio deal.
