During the political season, Jeezy endeared himself to the masses after initially being written off as a drug rapper by the mainstream. The shift came when he released a song called “My President,” dedicated to then-candidate, Barack Obama. His Nas remix won over even more people.
Once Obama was elected as president, he hinted at inviting Jeezy to visit him at the White House. As the Obama presidency comes to an end, Jeezy has yet to visit DC in official capacity. With the new election cycle beginning, this makes for good conversation.
Jeezy recently stopped by Hot 97 in New York City. Speaking with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, Jeezy opened up on his politics. He talked about Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, the Obama situation, and also Minister Farrakhan.
