Following the tremendous success of “Empire” after the first season, a lot of potential guest stars were mentioned. Season one of “Empire” won with the daily big name guest stars. Anthony Hamilton, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Snoop Dogg, Rita Ora and more showed up on “Empire.”
After the first season, Lee Daniels clearly had a hit on his hands and many guest stars wanted to come back. However, there were a lot of people pushing for Oprah to cameo, including Lee Daniels. While it is clear Oprah supports, a cameo is a different story.
There is still no confirmation of Oprah doing “Empire,” but she did post an Instagram photo that gives hope. Her photo was her with Lee Daniels and last season “Empire” guest star, Mary J. Blige. Could this be a hint that Oprah will make a cameo and that Mary J. Blige is returning to the show?
