Before Ty Dolla $ign was doing hooks for the LA artists, Nate Dogg was putting it down. Coming up in the Death Row era, Nate Dogg was involved in the Ruthless Records and East Coast beefs. Eventually, he became one of the more fun-loving artists in the game.
As the right-hand man to Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg had no choice but to be fun-loving. The two made tons of classic records, both on their own projects, and as two thirds of 213 with Warren G. In 2011, Nate Dogg died, somewhat unexpectedly and the game forever misses him.
Last week, the hip hop world learned Nate Dogg would have another look at his amazing life and career. A new documentary about Nate Dogg will soon be airing. TV One is doing an “Unsung” special on Nate Dogg, which should air on November 18.
