Relatively quickly, Young Thug has become one of the most-popular rappers in the game. No question, the co-sign from Birdman and Cash Money Records helped him along the way. This year, Young Thug drew a lot of attention from both beefing with Lil Wayne and Game.

In the end, Young Thug also got the Lil Wayne co-sign, taking a page out of Wayne’s book and how he got Jay Z’s attention. But, all of the hype with Young Thug led to his label giving him more. With his debut album due this year, they arranged a tour.

This afternoon, news broke of the tour dates being cancelled. Later, the tour was postponed, leaving Young Thug fans disappointed. Now, his parent label, Atlantic Records, has come out and issued a statement.

Read Atlantic Records’ statement below:

“Regrettably, the following Young Thug Hy!£UN35 Tour has been postponed (See dates below),” the statement says. “Young Thug will use this time to focus on putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated debut album, Hy!£UN35. The postponed dates will be rescheduled to 2016 in support of the release of the Hy!£UN35 album. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
