When the world last heard from Nas, it was six months after the release of Life Is Good. Riding a musical high, Nas said he would likely drop another album in 2013, due to having so much music. By 2014, Nas was saying he ended up taking time off to re-calibrate.
Thus far, in 2015, Nas has kept a very low profile with no talk of a new album being in the works. But, silence is often the precursor to much noise. Apparently, this is the case where Nas is concerned, as he has some new heat in store.
Completing his contract fulfillment at Def Jam, Nas is preparing the release of his eleventh studio album. In addition to the new solo album, he is also going to deliver the long-awaited Lost Tapes 2, rumored for years. Both of these albums should drop sometime in 2016.
