A force in the game for quite some time, Rick Ross has done almost everything except drop a surprise album. After dropping two albums in 2014, most felt he would let this year go by without an album release. It was there where the surprise came from.
Rick Ross hinted at an album called Black Dollar coming. Last week, he revealed it would drop on September 3, deeming the week #RozayWeek and a lot went into it. The week was a success, with fans crowning Ross a legend with a classic album.
The Miami emcee has definitely enjoyed a memorable career and has much more to come. In addition to the album, Rick Ross released “Money and Powder” as the single. With the week in hip hop wrapping up and Rick Ross being all the talk, it made sense for “Money and Powder” to be Video of the Week.
