Hands down, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is the most-iconic show of the 1990s. Given how loved the show has been in syndication from the moment the original run ended, many facts have gotten misconstrued. Few knew the show was actually set to end in 1994, instead of 1996.

Coming back for an additional two seasons saw “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” evolve. The final seasons focused on the lives and careers of the children. Ultimately, Will Smith’s character, Will Smith, would burn through several executive jobs, only to remain in school.

In 2013, unfortunately, James Avery, who portrayed Uncle Phil died in real life. During that time, there were fake stories created about Will Smith trying to create a special return episode. A couple of weeks ago, a real story surfaced of a remake and now it’s being said that Jaden Smith, Will’s son, will play in a starring role.
