Ten years ago, Game lived up to the hype with The Documentary, his debut album. It was going on ten years since Los Angeles saw an artist debut how Game did. Many felt Game was the beginning of a new movement from Los Angeles and the West Coast.
Eventually, Game was the only artist from that era to emerge during that period of time. In 2011, the Los Angeles hip hop scene began to do what was expected. Since then, the LA hip hop scene has done well, but now Game is back.
Game sat down with Sway in the studio, playing The Documentary 2 for him.
