Birdman says Drake and Nicki Minaj aren’t leaving Cash Money Records in preview of interview with Angie Martinez [VIDEO]

BirdmanangiepreviewvidThe past year has been less than favorable for Birdman, who has dealt with his franchise player turning on him. For years, Cash Money Records has dominated the rap game. When the chips were down, Lil Wayne stepped up and made this label hot.

Lil Wayne eventually started Young Money and signed Drake and Nicki Minaj after burning through a couple of artists. Immediately, the label ended up being a force. The 2009-2010 period was Young Money’s hottest period, but all of this changed when Lil Wayne dissed Birdman.

Angie Martinez sat Birdman down for a tell-all interview on Power 105.1, where he invited her into his home. Power 105.1 released a preview to the interview on Instagram and this clip was telling. When asked about Lil Wayne saying Drake and Nicki Minaj would leave Young Money, Birdman said they “ain’t goin’ nowhere.”
