When the first season of “Empire” ended, Terrence Howard and his TV son, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray were at odds. Rather, their characters, Lucious and Hakeem were at odds. After Lucious sent Camilla (Naomi Campbell) away, Hakeem declared war on him.
First, Hakeem dissed Lucious at a major company event where they announced Snoop Dogg signing to their label. The Hakeem freestyle diss led to Lucious punching him. But, Hakeem wasn’t done, bedding Lucious’ girlfriend, Anika (Grace Gealey).
The tension between Lucious and Hakeem is set to continue in season two, but the situation got a little too real. Back on set, filming, a scene called for Hakeem to hit Lucious with a plastic bottle, but he hit him with a real bottle, cutting Terrence Howard. This led to Terrence Howard punching Yazz, as he felt he did it on purpose and there are sources who claim Yazz is bipolar and will not take medicine.
