Around midnight, last night, Meek Mill began ranting on Twitter and, honestly, no one is sure why. Weeks removed from the release of his second album, Meek Mill is riding high. His first week sales are strong, although some critics still had something to say.

There were detractors who felt Meek Mill’s connections to Jay Z, Rick Ross, and Nicki Minaj propelled his sales. However, Meek Mill is number one and that’s all that matters. Last night, Meek Mill proved how wrong this was.

What began as a rant about Safaree grew into a debate about his position among Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Drake. While Meek Mill gave props to the first two, he went on to say Drake doesn’t write his own rhymes, even leading Rick Ross to call him out. In response to this, the fans on Twitter have been very vocal, clowning Meek Mill and starting their own #MeekMillBeLike hashtag.
