So much for Like Father, Like Son, Lil Wayne and Birdman seem to only go from bad to worse. When it all fell apart for Cash Money Records, it was Lil Wayne who turned things around. Among the projects released during that period of time was Like Father, Like Son.
At one point, a sequel was promised for their album, but Lil Wayne decided to close out with Tha Carter V. With the album on the way, it ended up being delayed. These delays led to Lil Wayne putting Birdman and Cash Money Records on blast.
The two are now enemies, with Birdman throwing liquor on Lil Wayne during his recent performance in Miami. In the midst of this, Birdman sued Jay Z and TIDAL for releasing a new album from Lil Wayne. Now, there are rumors of Lil Wayne and Birdman getting into another studio fight, as they fought in January, this time it got much more brutal, as Wayne was punched in the eye and Birdman injured his ribs.
