In the seven years that Janet Jackson has been out of the spotlight, Ciara definitely made her mark on the game. Fans are quick to point out that her popularity dramatically decreased over the past few years. But, when news broke of Janet Jackson doing the BET Awards, fans wanted Ciara.
Alongside Jason Derulo and Tinashe, Ciara did the tribute to Janet Jackson, before she received BET’s Ultimate Icon award. In the days since then, Ciara has definitely enjoyed her time working with Janet Jackson, however brief. She spoke to Capital XTRA about that moment in time, a couple of days ago.
