The first half of 2015 was missing something fans got used to by the end of last year. What was missing was August Alsina, who quietly made his debut during the early stages of 2013. Last year, August Alsina came into his own and has not looked back.
Illness, however, has held August Alsina back from doing what comes natural to him. But, despite suffering from an eye disease that has caused him partial blindness, August Alsina is going strong. The release of his track, “Hip Hop,” is actually the lead single to his new album.
August Alsina recently stopped by Shade 45 to speak to Sway on a recent episode of “Sway In The Morning.” During the interview, August Alsina spoke on his youth and upbringing. He went on to discuss his single, “Hip Hop,” which introduces his upcoming album that is due later this year.
