Prince removes his music from every streaming service not named TIDAL

Thus far, a lot of backlash has been directed towards Jay Z for his new venture, TIDAL. Designed to give artists ownership of their music, the service has gotten a lot of support and a lot of hate. Count Prince in as one who is in full support of the TIDAL venture.

A proud partner in the venture, Prince headlined their concert during the riots in Baltimore. The Rally 4 Peace concert was developed to aid the ailing city. Many who attended the concert gave it rave reviews and Jay Z and Beyonce did their part to help the city out.

Prince always had a weird relationship with music providers over the creation of his music and his likeness. But, unlike seemingly the rest of the industry, Prince is a big supporter of the new venture, TIDAL. He is in such support of TIDAL that he has removed his music from every other streaming service with the exception of Jay Z’s service.
