Yesterday, Tupac would have been 44 years old and there were a lot of tributes to him. Definitely, Tupac was dope when he was alive and he died too soon. Because of his death and his status in the game before he died, Tupac is one of the most-revered rappers ever.

Tupac originally entered the game working with Digital Underground, the popular Oakland group led by Shock G. However, Tupac soon branched out and found success as a solo artist. In 1993, Tupac strayed away from his conscious records to create “I Get Around” with Digital Underground.

In light of Tupac’s birthday, “I Get Around,” the second single off his sophomore album, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., was featured. The song became Tupac’s second top twenty Billboard hit and one of his most-popular hits of all time. This week, the Wednesday Throwback is Tupac’s 1993 hit, reflecting on better times.
