From the way it looks, Lil Durk is poised to be the next true star to emerge from Chicago. He came up with the drill rappers who emerged during the 2012 period, but Lil Durk seems to have his stuff together more. After all, he just released his debut album via Def Jam.

Lil Durk teamed up with French Montana’s Coke Boys and he’s made a lot of music with them. But, Lil Durk was the focus on Remember My Name, his solo debut album. Early this year, Lil Durk talked to Hip Hop Vibe about his then-upcoming album release.

Mass Appeal recently sat down with Lil Durk and he spoke to them about many of the things going on. The Coke Boys’ hearts are heavy, due to the loss of Chinx, which Lil Durk did speak on. He went on to discuss his new album, Chicago, and much more.
