It’s shocking and sad that Chinx is not here to push his debut album, seeing how focused he was on getting it done. A native of Queens, Chinx was putting the finishing touches on his debut album. While in the midst of recording Welcome To JFK, Chinx was murdered.
Chinx’s memory has lived on, with many people pouring onto social media to pay their respects for him. Certainly, Chinx’s spirit appreciates this, as it is what he always wanted. No matter what, Chinx is being felt by the masses, which does provide some comfort.
This afternoon, a promo for Welcome To JFK was shared on Chinx’s official Instagram. The promo was a promotional cover for the album and it revealed the release date for the new album. Expect Welcome To JFK on August 14 and the preorder for the album on July 17.
