Ever since 2012, the Chicago hip hop scene has been exploding with new talent. Many young rappers have emerged to become stars in this new rap game. One emcee many are high on is Mick Jenkins, and for good reason, as he is very talented.
Mick Jenkins, like many of the new generation rappers, is very outspoken on a lot of topics. Ironically, the Chicago rappers outside of the drill scene speak out more on topics than the drill emcees. A situation like that took place only an hour ago.
Those who follow hip hop online are familiar with the social media joke about Wale, with people cleverly placing him at places only to find a trash can there. This is a slick, yet direct, way for fans to call Wale trash, as in a bad rapper. But, Mick Jenkins cut right to the chase, directly calling Wale “trash” on Twitter.
